How your money, your data and your customers are protected, in plain words. Where it matters, you can check the source yourself.

Vonta Pay is neither a bank nor a payment institution.
How a payment works
- Your customer chooses Vonta Pay at checkout and sees the 1 % discount.
- Their own banking app opens and shows the amount and your shop.
- They approve it there, for example with Face ID. The bank confirms it, not us.
- The money moves by bank transfer, instantly where SEPA Instant is available.
What we see, and what we never see
- We see what a checkout needs: the amount, the order reference and the payment status.
- We never see a PIN, a banking password or a card number. Your customer enters those only with their own bank.
- No card data means no card chargebacks.
The legal ground
- PSD2: the EU rules for payment initiation and strong customer authentication.
- Instant Payments Regulation: eurozone banks must offer instant transfers.
- GDPR: see our privacy policy.
Other public sources
- PayPal's published fees: 2.99 % + €0.39 for domestic payments in Germany, the rate our calculator uses.
- Stripe and TrueLayer: Stripe partnered with TrueLayer to bring Pay by Bank to Germany and France.
- Baymard Institute: the cart abandonment figures quoted on our home page.
This website
- No cookies and no tracking.
- No third-party scripts. Fonts come from our own server.
- Your email from the form is used only to reply to you.
Where we stand
Vonta Pay is in its pilot phase and is welcoming its first online shops. Pilot shops work directly with the founder, and every setup is done personally. As soon as a pilot shop agrees, we'll publish real results here. We don't show logos or numbers we can't back up.
